CERTIFIED ORGANIC PRODUCE
All our products are certified organic, free from synthetic pesticides, herbicides, and genetically modified organisms (GMOs). We grow our crops using natural methods that enhance soil health and biodiversity.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
We believe in fostering a strong connection with our community. Through educational programs, farm tours, and local partnerships, we aim to educate and inspire others about the benefits of organic farming and sustainable living.
SUSTAINABILITY
Environmental stewardship is at the core of our operations. We utilize renewable energy, practice water conservation, and employ crop rotation and cover cropping to maintain soil fertility and reduce our carbon footprint.
Our Products
We take pride in the quality of our products and believe in the importance of transparency in our farming practices. Our goats and lambs are raised on a diet of locally-sourced feed and are never given antibiotics or growth hormones.
Our goat milk and cheese are made in small batches with care and attention to detail.
We also offer a range of goat meat products, including ground goat, goat chops, and goat roasts.
In Q4 of 2023, we will be introducing our new poultry farm and fishery, which will offer high-quality chicken, eggs, and sustainably-raised fish. All of our poultry and fish will be raised using the same sustainable and humane practices as our goats and lambs.
Farm Experiences
At Salamis Farms, we believe that education is key to promoting sustainable agriculture and building community. We offer farm tours and workshops that provide visitors with a behind-the-scenes look at our farm and our practices. Our workshops cover a range of topics, from cheesemaking to composting, and are suitable for all ages.
Community Engagement
We are committed to supporting our local community and promoting local businesses.
We partner with local restaurants and food artisans to showcase our products and collaborate on events.
We also work with local schools and community organizations to promote education and outreach initiatives.
What we Believe
Our farm is dedicated to providing sustainably raised, high-quality livestock products to our community.
We currently operate as a livestock farm specializing in Nubian and Nigerian dwarf goats and lambs, and are excited to announce that we will be adding a poultry farm and fishery in Q4 of 2023.
